Ahmad is a Principal at HDR with 28 years of experience. As a registered architect in over 15 countries and States he served in many capacities as a leader in the healthcare, science, higher education, civic and justice programs. His ability to lead projects that span geographic, political and cultural boundaries has successfully led to monumental projects across multiple continents. His projects span the globe, from North America and Europe to the Middle East, Australia and China. Ahmad serves as HDR's Principal in Charge of the overall Middle East and North Africa program. He is currently leading the design of major healthcare, science and technology, and civic projects in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE. Ahmad is a lauded published author and speaker and he is known as an expert in designing technologically complex and sustainable buildings that advance science and health and improve the quality of life.
